High School Morning Announcements

Summer Weight lifting
Starting Monday, June 9th through Thursday, July 31st there will be a summer weight lifting program will be available for students in grades 8-12.  The program will give students the opportunity to continue personal programs students have already started.  Students who have not started a weight lifting program will have the opportunity to work with the supervisor, Mr. Drobnick, to create one.  The weight room will be open Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. if there
is enough participation.


The Community Ed. Program is offering Driver's Education training for students in the 9th Grade or older.  The class will run June 5-18 from 9:00 am to 12:00.  Registration forms are available in the high school office. 

Students:  Reminder that 4th quarter grades will carry over to next fall and affect eligibility for all fall sports/activities.

There is an opportunity for youth summer employment with the Youth Conservation Corp for students who are 15 years old by June 1.  See Sheila for details.

Weight room schedule Monday and Wednesday mornings 7:15-8:00, after school Tuesday and Thursday 3:30-5:30.

The ALC is offering after school credit recovery on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 3:30 to 5:30. Note the change from four days to two days a week. 

Mahnomen High school homework club is Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday with the following teachers:
Tuesday- Mrs. Lefstad room 229, Wednesday- Mr. Olson room 212, and Thursday- Mrs. Zimmerman's room 236.
