ECFE

Miss Kimberly's ECFE night class has been changed to Thursdays from 5 to 6:30 pm. This is a Parent and Child class for preschool aged children where you can come and spend time together.

Each class is themed and will include projects and games, along with song and story times. No need to preregister. Just come to room 131 and join the fun! If you have any questions you can contact me at 935-2581 ext. 131.

Elementary Dance Program

The Sparklers Dance Team is holding their annual dance program for students in grades K-6 starting on Monday, March 4^th. Practice will be held after school Monday – Friday until 5 pm. There will be a performance on Saturday, March 9^th at 1:00 (Dancers should be here at 12:30). A participation fee of $15.00 and the permission slip (sent home with students) should be turned into the elementary office by Friday, March 1.

4-H Reminder:

“Go Wild”

Sunday, Feb. 24^th @ 4 pm

@ the Mahnomen Area Service Center

Learn about Minnesota Wildlife, have fun making animal tracks, and take home a bird feeder. All this while learning more about what 4-H has to off er. This event is for both current and new members. Don’t forget to bring a friend or two!! Parents are encouraged to attend.

Elementary Basketball

• Basketball players will be playing during the halftimes of the Doubleheader on Friday, Feb. 22^nd. 3-4 grade girls and boys should be at school at 4:30 (girls in the high school gym, boys in the elementary gym), 5-6 grade girls should be here at 6:00 (high school gym), and 5-6 grade boys at 7:30 (elementary gym).

• 4-6 grade boys and girls will be playing in Fertile on Saturday, Feb 23^rd

SEE BACK FOR SCHEDULE

• 2-3 grade boys will play in Fosston starting at 9:00 Sat., Feb. 23^rd. Meet at the south side of the school at 8:15am.

• No practice for any other groups on Sat. Feb 23^rd.

Dear Parent or Guardian,

February is I love to read month and on Friday March 1st we will wrap the month by having what is called Muffins in March. We are inviting parents to enjoy breakfast with your child from 7:45-8:30 AM. After breakfast we'd like you to come to your child's classroom to have them read and show what they have learned so far. There is no cost for the breakfast. If you are unable to come, it is okay for relatives or other special people in your child's life to come in. We are very proud of our students, hope to see you on Friday March 1st from 7:45-8:30, please park in the elementary parking lot.
