We are excited to announce that our new joint activities name and colors are:
 

Nickname: Thunderbirds

Colors: Black, Teal, and Silver
 

The Waubun and Mahnomen School Boards have approved the new nickname and color scheme of the co-curricular activity programs in a joint school board meeting held this morning, September 18th at 7:00am. 
 

The joint Activities Committee, both School Boards, Administration, Athletic Directors and Staff would like to thank the students and community for your input and involvement in this selection process. We celebrate and cherish our rich history. We will carry that strong history and tradition into building a strong future for our children.
