MHS Class of 1968 Final Reunion Update

Plans are finalized.

Thursday, September 6 at 4 pm, School Tour.   Meet in elementary parking lot on north side at 4 pm. Following tour, we will meet at King’s Corner (old K.C. Hall) approximately 5 pm.   Social Hour and a brief program, memorabilia display, and trivia!   Meal consisting of pulled pork, macaroni salad and cole slaw for $10.   We have invited former teachers and have had a wonderful response! The class is paying for the retired teacher’s meals. We have had several generous donations from Darleen Stenmoen Joos, Ken Krasja, and Gene Bjerken. Duane and I are donating the stamps, printing, paper products….so if anyone feels so inclined… we would appreciate it?   Will also have sign-up sheet for golf on Friday.   For those of you with no golf clubs, bag, borrow (don’t steal) some, or maybe we can share. Best ball tournament with lots of KINK’S.

Friday, September 7, Mahnomen Country Club.   Golf Scramble at 9 am. Draw for teams, anyone can participate. Mostly for fun!   Lots of prizes…for those who don’t want to golf, can meet in the club house early for visiting and socializing. They will prepare a noon lunch of BBQ and potato salad for $7.00. At 2:30 pm, we will tour the Mahnomen County Historical Society Museum on Main Street. (nominal fee or donation)   Always very interesting!

Friday evening is open for informal gathering at the Casino. Just a note: there is teleconference bingo in the Mustang Lounge at 6 pm. Can get crowded! Also, Larry the Cable Guy, is performing in the Event Center on Friday night.   Some have already purchased tickets.

So, essentially, we need RSVP’s so we have a final count for the meals…. Send to email: This email address is being protected from spambots.
