Fall Concert

The Mahnomen Music Department hosted their annual Fall Concert on Monday, October 16th, 2023. Directed by Megan Agrall and Jill Bisek and accompanied by Lavon Cook, the program highlighted beautiful pieces performed by students in grades 7-12. The Junior High Choir sang "Woodchuck", arranged by Mark Burrows, "I See Colors", arranged by Pinkzebra and "A Dark and Stormy Night", also by mark Burrows. Soloists Thor Askelson, Isabelle Dietz, Katrina Deegan-Swenson, and Celeste Wilson, along with duets Wyatt Wadena and Eric Wind, Jaelyn Vanderplaats-Giard and Mia Mills gave  the piece "I see Colors" their personal touches of tones and talent. 

The Junior High Band performed "Liberty March", arranged by James Swearingen, "Annabel Lee", arranged by Mike Story, and "Mystic Legend" by Anne McGinty.

Director Bisek's High School Band closed the show with "Flurry for Winds & Percussion" by John Kinyon, "Air for Winds" by John Edmondson, and "Last Ride of the Pony Express" by David Shaffer, which hosted soloist, Dawson Darco.
