The Mahnomen High School honored the 2025 Mahnomen Chapter of the Minnesota Honor Society Inductees with an induction ceremony on March 14th, 2025.
High School Principal Kevin Hedstrom opened the ceremony with a warm welcome and Advisor Margaret McMullen shared an introduction of the program.
Officers Lillian Linden spoke on the Leadership pillar of the MHS, Aiyana Swenson spoke on the Character pillar of the MHS, Mia McArthur spoke on the Service pillar of the MHS, and Tyler Schoenborn spoke on the Scholarship pillar of the MHS. Leadership, Character, Service and Scholarship make up the foundation of the Society and are the focus of each year.
Hailey English, Mataya Bigbear, Maci Nickaboine, Natalie Noll, Nenookaasi Poitra, Benjamin Tibbetts, Curtis Uran Jr., and Colten Warnsholz completed the pledge and were announced as new members to the society.
A reception and refreshments were held following the ceremony by the MHS Advisory Committee and membership.
