Our high school Robotics Class built a robot for the Mahnomen Co. Sheriff's Dept. and then entered in the Samsung recognition program AND received state level recognition! The students made this video, as it was a requirement to advance in the Samsung recognition program!
The robot and students will be featured on WDAY news tonight at 10pm!!!

We would like to congratulate Dr. Simon on earning her PhD! She currently teaches English in the high school. Dr. Simon's 8th hour class surpised her with a party celebrating her accomplishments! Thank you for all you do and congratulations!

Congratulations to our students who participated in the Minnesota State High School league Subsection 30 Music Ensemble Contest on Monday, March 14 at Norman County East HS! There were five instrumental ensembles, way to go!


5th grade had a fun day yesterday enjoying the sunshine at the Waubun School Forest, skiing, snowshoeing and sledding! Thank you to the Waubun School Forest for hosting!

The Mahnomen Community Education Program will be offering a volleyball camp Sunday through Tuesday, April 3-5, 2022. The camp will be held at the Mahnomen High School. It is open to grades K-6. The following schedule will be used --- grades K-3rd – 5:00-6:15 pm and grades 4-6 - 6:15-7:30 pm. Camp will be led by Coach Vickie Anderson.
The cost for the camp is $25.00 for all ages.-- Go Thunderbirds!
