More exciting things happening in Math 7! Recently students learned to calculate the area of a Reuleaux Triangle and then made guitar picks, discovering that the Area of guitar picks is 1.048 square inches!

ICYMI: Our Math 7 classroom has been busy! Students recently calculated circumference of drive axle and wheels. To make this Mars Rover, they used CD ‘s for wheels, then replaced with plastic hobby car wheels and smaller diameter axle to compare distance traveled. The Mouse Trap Powered to 45 feet!
Parents & Guardians: Please remember that students need to be properly dressed to ride the bus.
They need no more sandals, shorts etc. They should have a coat, hat, gloves and solid shoes or boots. Next weeks temperatures are forecasted to be below zero for the high on some days and buses can break down. Please help us keep your students safe! Thank you!

Math 7 students created a Mouse Trap Powered Purple Rover!! While doing so, calculating the circumference of wheel and axle to estimate speed and distance traveled! The Rover traveled 33.5 feet! Thank you to our students, teachers, and volunteers who helped with this project!
Congratulations to Jack, Kale, Thomas, and Hunter for placing 11th & 17th at the first robotics tournament of the season against some tough competition!

Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences are at scheduled times starting tonight, November 7th between 4-7:00 pm or during the day Friday, November 8th, or the evening of November 12th between 4-7:00 PM. There is no school for elementary students tomorrow due to conferences.
