The JH lock in for students in grades 7-9 is Friday, March 6th from 7pm-11pm. Cost is $5. A bus will pick up at the Charter school at 6:15pm and drop off at 11:30 pm. Doors close at 7:30. This is for Mahnomen and Waubun students. Hope to see you there!
Congratulations to the Thunderbird Girls basketball team on their 79 to 45 victory over the Hillcrest Comets in the Section 6A tournament play-in game!
K-3 students from Mahnomen Elementary participated in the Kids Heart Challenge on Friday February 14th. The Kids Heart Challenge is a fun and exciting event where students learn about their heart while helping others by raising money for the American Heart Association. Students had a chance to participate in an obstacle course that taught them about the different parts of the heart.
The top three fundraisers were Adalyn McCollum (Kindergarten), Annbelle Lewis (2nd Grade), and Mikalynn Miller (1st Grade)
